[Albany] October 26, 1782. An entry in the “Minutes of the Supreme Court” on this date reads: “Alexander Hamilton Esquire having on Examination been found of sufficient Ability and Competent learning to practise as Counsel in this Court Ordered that he be admitted accordingly.”
