The enclosed is Robt. Williams’s letter respecting the sales of land for taxes in the Mississippi territory under late West’s influence.

RC (DLC); partially dated; addressed: “The President of the United States”; endorsed by TJ as a letter of 13 Mch. 1805 received that day and “West’s conduct selling lands” and so recorded in SJL. Enclosure not found.
