§ From William Lee. 1 February 1807, Bordeaux. “I have the honor to transmit you herewith a return of Vessels that have entered and cleared at this Consulate from the 1st July to 31st Decr 1806.”1

1. The enclosure, a “List of Vessels cleared out at the Agency of the United States of America at Bordeaux after the 30th. June 1806 whose entry was noted in the last Seminual [sic] return,” dated 31 December 1806 and signed by Lee (1 p.), listed American vessels that departed Bordeaux, including the names and kinds of ships; their captains, owners, cargoes, home ports, and destinations; and their dates of entry and clearance.
