¶ From David Gelston. Letter not found. 6 February 1807. Acknowledged as received in JM to Gelston, 9 Feb. 1807, and likely related to coordinating travel for witnesses for Capt. Henry Whitby’s trial. JM’s 9 February 1807 letter to Peter Muhlenberg indicates that Gelston may have been informing JM that the witnesses were ready to embark.
